Memeo Send is a file sharing application for Windows. It allows you to send files to anyone with an e-mail address. Graphically, the application resembles the web interfaces that are used for tracking actual mail packages. Thus, the application is often called "the mail of the 21st Century". Sending files is undeniably easy. You simply drag a file onto the screen and add an e-mail recipient. The application will then upload the file to its servers and send an e-mail notification to the recipient, who can download the file using a web browser or using the Memeo Send. One good thing about this app is that you can track the process from the track tab. You can see exactly when your file was sent and under "delivery status" you will be notified when the recipient downloads the file. There is a list of all the files that have been sent, and each one can be tracked.
Memeo Send is an excellent program. Very powerful and intuitive. The real problem here is pricing. Memeo Send offers three free file sends. After that, you have to pay $4.95 per use, or $19.95 per month, per user. There are plenty of free solutions out there and some of them are more complete. Such a high pricing scheme may force users to go to cheaper or free alternatives.
